1. Eligibility

The giveaway is open to legal residents of Canada (excluding Quebec) and the United States, who are 18 years or older at the time of entry.

Employees of Mikra, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members or persons living in the same household are not eligible to participate.

Winners may be required to provide proof of residency or age to verify eligibility before claiming the prize.

2. Entry Period

The giveaway begins at 12:00 AM ET on December 9, 2024, and ends at 11:59 PM ET on January 15, 2025 (the "Entry Period").

Entries submitted outside the Entry Period will not be eligible.

3. How to Enter

Purchase Entry: Each dollar spent in the Mikra Shopify store during the Entry Period earns one (1) entry into the giveaway.

Bonus Entries:

Share Mikra on social media using the designated Shopify app integration. Participants must not tag individuals without their prior consent, in compliance with anti-spam laws.

Refer a friend via email through the designated Shopify app. Participants are responsible for ensuring that referrals comply with applicable anti-spam laws, including obtaining prior consent from recipients.

All entries must comply with the methods specified. Incomplete, invalid, or duplicate entries will be disqualified.

4. Prize

Total retail value of the prize is approximately CAD/USD $3000 USD. The prize is non-transferable, and no cash or other substitution is permitted except at Mikra's discretion. Mikra reserves the right to substitute the prize with an item of equal or greater value.

5. Winner Selection and Notification

The winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries on or about January 16, 2025.

The winner will be notified via email or social media within five (5) business days of the drawing. To claim the prize, the winner must:

Respond to the notification within seven (7) calendar days.

Canadian Residents Only: Correctly answer a time-limited, skill-testing question without assistance. Example: “What is 50 + 10 ÷ 2 - 5?”

If the winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond within the required timeframe, does not correctly answer the skill-testing question (if required), or is disqualified for any reason, an alternate winner will be selected.

6. Conditions of Participation

Be bound by these Terms and Conditions and Mikra’s decisions, which are final and binding.

Allow Mikra to use their name, image, and likeness for promotional purposes without further compensation, except where prohibited by law.

Participants represent and warrant that their submissions, including social shares or referrals, do not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party.

7. Disqualification

Mikra reserves the right to disqualify any participant who:

Tampers with the entry process.

Violates these Terms and Conditions.

Acts in a disruptive or unsportsmanlike manner.

8. Limitation of Liability

Mikra is not responsible for:

Exact replication of products or items shown in promotional images. Actual items may vary in color, design, or appearance from those displayed.

Lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries.

Technical failures or errors in entry submission, tracking, or winner selection.

Injuries, losses, or damages arising from participation in the giveaway or acceptance of the prize, except as prohibited by law.

9. Privacy

Personal data collected during the giveaway will be used in accordance with Mikra’s Privacy Policy, available at https://wearemikra.com/policies/privacy-policy

10. Governing Law

The giveaway is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, and the State of Florida, United States. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ontario, Canada, or Florida, United States, as determined by Mikra.

11. Miscellaneous

These Terms and Conditions will be made available on the contest page throughout the Entry Period.

Mikra reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the giveaway at any time with notice provided on the contest page.

Any attempt to undermine the legitimate operation of the giveaway may be a violation of criminal and civil laws. Mikra reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
